Some may wonder how I chose "The Voice Within". I believe that somewhere deep within each of us there is a voice that is waiting to be heard. That voice may be a tiny whisper, or even a screeching yell for help. It may be tears of pain or gut wrenching laughter but we all have a voice that needs to be heard.
Maya Angelou told it best in the book I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" by the way I too, know why the caged bird sings. It's why I sing and why I write.
