They say that life is what you make it, so I'm trying to make the best of the hand I've been dealt. It's not always good and the older I get I am realizing that this hand was not dealt to me, I chose most of my cards, they were good cards in my youth but now I must pay for those decisions.
I prided myself on being a kind, loving, God fearing woman. I went out of my way to help people (quite often strangers). Funny how life is because today, I have no idea where those people are.
I recently read an article, written by a person that had a few regrets well I have a few of my own! 10 years ago if I had known that I would have lymphedema, I would definitely have taken more walks around the lake (I love the water), I would have taken time to enjoy the sun (I can't now because my medication requires limited exposure to the sun). My new philosophy...live life like there's no tomorrow! Walk in the sun enjoy the rain(it's only water).
