My left Leg - A walk with Lymphedema

I'm into day three of a wrap free life, but the road ends here. I realized yesterday that I have begun to swell again. I cannot say that this is a total surprise but none-the-less I must deal with it. I am not an expert at this but I believe the "old garments" are no longer able to support my condition/legs. The garments must be replaced every 6 months (it's been about 5 months). When I try to evaluate and dissect this thing, I realized that I was wearing the "old garments" when my leg was at it's largest point (this time), so with that in mind the elasticity had to have reached it's limit, which is why they must be replaced. I have decided to wrap my legs every other day, until the new garments arrive. If this doesn't work then a girls-gotta-do-what-a-girls-gotta-do, and go back to wrapping 24 hours a day. I will continue doing MLD, breathing exercises and using the "pump" on my legs twice daily for 30 minutes. I am very disappointed but... This is life with lymphedema.
