As I prepare to embrace my next birthday. I find myself reflecting. As I do so I am pleased with my memories. I have no regrets (I try to live so that I don't), I was always surrounded by love and love ones, I had a great childhood, I had meaningful relationships and I love the Lord. I thought is worth your time and mine to give a few highlights on lessons that I have learned on my journey called life....
- I am the editor of my life but not the writer, It was written well over 2000 years ago.
- Life is full of disappointments and that's ok
- It's ok to change courses or the direction in which we travel
- Change is ok
- I will fall/fail but I will also get back up
- It is not me...but light within me that "shines"
- I am so blessed
I also make it a point to ask myself often, is the world a better place because of me? And the answer today is ABSOLUTELY!
