Winter is here and the new challenges begin. The dryness in the air, the cold weather and dampness has major affects on my legs.
I find it necessary to keep a heater on or near my legs (the temperature has to be just right) too cold and I ache, too hot and I ache and swell. Whew life with lymphedema (shaking my head).
I received a referral to see a lymphedema specialist, as the condition is progressive and it is progressing.
If you don't mind I need to take a little praise break!!! because I have been so very blessed, even with lymphedema. I am still walking people, still walking (smile).
I decided a long time ago that it will be more harm to get depressed about this thing, I will also have to pay a therapist. So positivity is the road I choose.
The race is not given to the swift but to him that endures until the end. So I'm still going. Like the energizer bunny still going! When I slow down please know that it must be time to refuel.
