Well it's been one month since my surgery (meniscus repair) and I am so ready to return to work! I believe everything has a purpose and there are learning opportunities in every situation. As you can imagine I learned so very much during my time off. For starters...
I have written many times about how lonely and alone I feel...all I can say is, Michael Jackson's song "You are Not Alone" took on a whole new meaning for me. Family and friends were their at my side the entire duration of my recovery. I honestly did not expect so many people to be there for me and I really didn't think so many people cared. I thank God for showing me that not only was he ever present he also allowed me to see that people really do care.
I am well on my way to a full recovery and looking forward to the new things that are in store for me 2011. I am ready to walk in the healing and get back to my "routine". If this was a test (smile) I think I passed!
Remember life is full of lessons, we learn them and then it's time for the next one!
