It is in fact the end of the summer and I am without my cane 80% of the time. This week I am in more pain, however that is largely due to the weather, it has been rainy for days with no signs of letting up for at least another 2 or 3 days, oh well. For this I will not complain, I look at the fires in California and the heat in other parts of the country and I know they would love to have the rain that we so easily complain about. There are farmers that are dependant on the rain not only for their crops but for their income and means to feed their families, so why should I complain.
The swelling in my legs have gotten considerably better however I am having more pain. A few weeks ago it was quite different. So I'm still pressing on and doing what I can when I can! I am excited about the progress and looking forward to the day that I can walk around my favorite place in the world...Disney World once again.
