Letters from the Storm

Crippled over in pain I await the birth
of what I knew would change my life forever
Life as I knew it would never be the same
A new life...coming out of me?
Another chance to right my wrong
Another chance to mold or shape the world
A chance to prune what has taken a life of its own
Emotions, Fears, Insecurities etc
...and so the labor begins
Each contraction preparing me for what is to come
Each pain opening a part of my...mind
to see a new day
to birth a new me
to give life today and tomorrow
to celebrate yesterday that prepared me for today
to give birth to the new me
