"Life"

I have been blogging for a little while now and my primary motive was to inspire and encourage. I have revealed quiet a bit about about myself especially my condition. But you know what? I am more than lymphedema.

I have several ways of coping, one of my passions is making jewelry. When I "bead" I am transformed into another person with not a care in the world other than my current creation. It allows me to focus on something else other than lymphedema. Another great thing is I get to see the end result (smile).

I prefer to work with natural gems and beads such as turquoise, lava, carnelian, wood and bone. The end result is amazing. Every creation is like a freeing experience. Friends and family have tried to encourage me to sell "my" jewelry, but for some reason it takes away from the "fun of it". I enjoy beading because there is no obligation, commitment or requirement. I am free to start and end whenever I feel like it. So this is a peep into another side of onevoice. See I really am more than a person with Lymphedema.
